Tuff is a mineral substrate used mainly for Pinguicula cultivation, either alone or mixed with other mineral compounds, or with peat and perlite.
It is straw-yellow in color and can be scratched with a fingernail; moreover, since it consists mainly of oxides of Aluminum, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium, it does not undergo chemical oxidation or hydration processes.
