Blonde Sphagnum peat moss (Estonian peat moss)
Blonde sphagnum peat is the substrate par excellence for growing our carnivorous plants, typically mixed in a 50:50 ratio with perlite. It can also be combined with other materials in various proportions to create more complex substrates suitable for more demanding species.
Average chemical analysis:
-Organic carbon of biological origin (C) on a dry basis: 40%
-Organic nitrogen (N) on a dry basis: 0.7%
-Organic matter on dry basis: 80%
Technical characteristics:
-PH (CaCl2): 2.5 to 3.5
Degree of decomposition:
-H3 – H5
