Akadama 2/5 mm

Akadama (2-5 mm) literally means ‘Red Ball Soil’ and is a volcanic-derived clay collected from a depth of 3 meters in the subsoil of Cryptomeria forests in Japan. Akadama is harvested, dried, heated to remove organisms and pests, and then pulverized into various sizes.
